ROCK CLIMBING IN THE HAYTOR AREA
The crags of Haytor and Lowman provides stacks of routes, some of the best climbing on The Moor and even a few regional classics! Grades span from Mod to E6.
Holwell Tor provides a small number of routes, including the rather tricky Bobangi E7 and Tsutsi E6. Holwell Quarry on the other hand provides a selection of slab/wall routes, some of which are excellent but most of which take a spell of dry weather to come into condition (failing that a cold snap can see top ropable ice forming!).
There are also a couple of other quarries - Haytor Quarry and Myrtle Turtle Quarry - both with more routes to increase the variety!
