New Routes and Route Info

New routes and information on existing routes are arranged into the following guidebook areas:

Updates on rock falls, repeats, in-situ gear reports etc. can also be found within the sections linked from above.

Many routes around the South Sest receive little traffic and consequently information about grades, repeats, state if in-situ gear etc can be hard to come by. Please send in any useful information to share with others and hopefully encourage more traffic on the regions more obscure routes.

Please note: First ascentionists star ratings are included. Whilst some think that giving your own route stars is not the done thing, I am including them here 'coz otherwise the routes are even less likely to see repeats. Obviously these should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Where you see # after a route that means that the grade/quality has not been confirmed. It is wise to approach these with an additional degree of caution. The majority of the route descriptions are supplied by first ascentionists and we cannot always gaurantee accuracy.

And also note that where page numbers are used they refer to the main area guide!
